How do I submit my custom text information?

On applicable products, choose your color choices when adding your items to your cart. Then, at checkout, let us know what font and text you'd like on your custom plates. Once we have received your design choices, we will generate and email you a digital proof that will have an image of what your plates will say and look like as a final round of QC and approval by you.

Will the proof show my color combinations?

Yes! These proofs are meant to give you a visual representation of what your plates will look like PRIOR to printing (to avoid re-printing and wasting material) and will be emailed to you as a PNG file for you to browse.

Do you sell the .STL files for my plates?

At this time, no. If you are THAT kind of nerd and are spicy with the 3D printing like me, let's chat.

How do the name plates adhere to the case?

Most pelican models have a small insert for a name tag, right in between the mounts for the side (briefcase) handle. These inserts are filled with a blank from the factory upon shipping and have a small bit of double stick tape on the back of them. Simply work a flathead screwdriver or small knife between the case and the blank, and you'll be able to break the adhesive bond and slide the blank out. You can apply the provided adhesive to your new custom name plate, or just let the natural grooves in the case hold it in place. Either way is groovy.

How do the face plates adhere to the case?

While these are measured to fit perfectly in those slots, they are just plain too big to self adhere like the name tags. We provide a strip of adhesive double sided mounting material with every plate, simply apply this to the back of your plate and press to the front of your case. For best results, clean area with alcohol prior to installation and press firmly for 90 seconds when applying to your case.

Why do you do this?

I'm a touring LD just looking for a fun and creative side hustle, and this seemed like the perfect thing. No huge teams, no massive factories, just a nerdy guy with cool toys and some time on his hands in between tours.
