A fully layered, three-dimensional canvas to work with.
Visually Impressive returned to the Do LaB stage at Coachella 2026 for a six-day, two-weekend run spanning nearly 90 artists. This year's production marked a significant structural evolution — 11 new towers loaded with Acme Tornadoes, GLP X5 IP Bar 1000s, and GLP X5 Maxx IPs added genuine vertical depth to the stage environment and gave the design a fully layered, three-dimensional canvas to work with.
The lighting program ran three simultaneous layers of motion: programmed cues, audio-reactive content, and live VJ video mapped directly onto fixtures via NDI — all operating in concert to keep the stage alive across back-to-back sets. A custom directional haze control surface was engineered on site to adapt to Coachella's shifting wind conditions in real time, ensuring atmosphere was always working with the show, never against it.
The run culminated in a standout set with special guest Sub Focus, closing out a production that grew and evolved with every day on the floor — exactly the kind of work Visually Impressive is built for.
